Hi, my name is Polina Bulat. I am a Berlin-based manager, agent and strategic partner working internationally in contemporary dance.
Years ago I entered this field as an admiring spectator and gradually moved into supporting the conditions that allow artistic work to travel, grow and meet its audiences. Today I accompany artists in developing international collaborations, touring networks and long-term artistic trajectories.
Originally from Ukraine, I moved to Warsaw and later to Berlin after the full-scale war began in 2022. Living as a migrant has shaped how I relate to the cultural field: a state of constant transition where artists, curators and audiences move from place to place, project to project, rarely having the chance to fully arrive.
Because of this, I am interested in creating conditions for grounded encounters. My partnerships are built over time and through trust, with a feminist, non-hierarchical approach and attention to the working environment.
The work I support values craft that lands in the body, sensitive dramaturgy and a distinct artistic voice open to dialogue with the world. I aim to co-create frameworks where artists have the time and stability to connect to a place, and where partners can rely on clarity, continuity and care for how the work connects with the audience.
